Dream Day

Ali + Lucas had their wedding at Belmont Country Club in Loudon County, VA. All of the pieces fell into place for this one!

Perfect weather- which even gave us nice diffused lighting with the perfectly overcast but not rainy skies, amazing floral arrangements, a beautiful bridal suite complete with a clawfoot tub and a dress form begging to be posed with Ali's french designer dress, and a groom's suite with a big pool table perfect for the guys to relax and get some cool pre-wedding shots.

Ali loves flowers, which showed in her floral arrangements, the beautiful venue gardens and her petal toss with the wedding party and again at the recessional!

The reception was so gorgeous. They came in alone- no bridal party entrances, and went right into their first dance to "You are the best thing" by Ray LaMontagne. The speeches by Ali's sister and Lucas's best man stole the show- sweet, funny and memorable. Then they all danced the night away and had the best time! What more can you ask for?

I love having her with me because she brings a photographer's eye and has ideas that I don't always come up with. The different angles she got during the ceremony are really unique and fun- I can't wait to put everything together!
